About The Canada Day Lotto
- The Canada Day Lotto is an annual event which is scheduled to take place at 15:00 Canada time on Thursday the 1st of July 2021.
- Canada Day Lotto uses an Insured Random Number Generator (iRNG) which will randomly select six numbers between the range of 1-50, these are referred to as the ‘Main Numbers’. This is subsequently followed by a seventh number which is referred to as the Joker Ball between the range of 1-5.
- These seven numbers will make up the winning numbers, also known as the ‘winning line’.
- To win the jackpot of CAD22 million, players must have a valid entry which contains the same six main numbers and the same Joker Ball which are selected as the winning line.
- The six main numbers do not have to be matched in the same order that they are selected by the iRNG or in the order that is displayed on the results page on the website.
- The Joker Ball cannot be substituted with one of the main numbers in order to create a winning entry.
Winnings and Claiming
- Players may only win the prizes that are listed on the Canada Day Lotto Prizes page.
- Prizes may vary due to the differences in currency and exchange rates dependent on the currency in your chosen country. Please check the Currency page for more information.
- The CAD22 million jackpot will be split equally between all of the players who match the six main numbers plus the Joker Ball.
- The results of the Canada Day Lotto Number Checker do not act as evidence that a player has a winning entry. A player must have purchased an entry to be eligible for the prizes.
- The prize that is won by any player will be sent to their online account which they can withdraw at any time they wish.
- There is no other method of getting the prizes.
